BDPN is a lowbrow comedy competition.
The goal? To write and perform the most unbearably cliche and corny 'disapora poetry' you can muster. Unpoetic (but on theme) comedy is also welcome on this stage.
The audience will determine the winner. The 'prize' will be something silly and on theme, perhaps fruit, tea, bakhoor, etc. The competitive aspect is more for laughs than true prestige.
